COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Since the Travel & Tour Agency in 2015, we have worked to guarantee that tourism supports local people in the vicinity of the Mole National Park in the savannah region of Damongo and protects the environment at tourist hotspots around the Region.

We believe Mole Boy Travel & Safe Guide Tours is nothing without the communities around us as we love to grow alongside our communities. Some of the successes that Mole Boy Travel & Safe Guide Tours have achieved over the years include providing employment to some of the people in our communities, building of a borehole to support to mognori eco village, support the youth in town (football teams) with jesses and first aid box, and more.

The COVID-19 epidemic has left a lasting impression on Mole Boy Travel & Safe Guide Tours, as it has on many other Tours. The past year has seen a lot of quick change, adaptability, and at times, deep despair. But it has also been a year of resiliency and improved cooperation, which has given rise to a once-in-a-lifetime chance to shift the direction of tourism.
In order to guarantee that tourism has more positive effects for local communities and safeguards the heritage, culture, and ecology in destinations, Mole Boy Travel & Safe Guide Tours has already designed and started to apply a new strategy. The following three overarching goals guide this work:
– Tour Destination: assisting the public and private sectors in maximizing the benefits of tourism and assisting places in meeting their needs.
– Sustainable supply chain: promoting tourism’s diversification and adaptability to maximize its advantages for local economies and the environment.
– Thought leadership: promoting change and creating a worldwide network of collaborators to advance comprehension and innovation.

The pandemic’s negative economic effects have been particularly severe on Ghana’s tourist sites and the communities who depend on tourism, underscoring the ongoing significance of our endeavor. We have focused our efforts on 2020 on assisting our local communities in their recovery and fostering industry-wide cooperation. While the pandemic forced us to temporarily halt many of our current Tours, we have since restarted them with many of our activities modified to reflect the new problems encountered by the communities, small companies, and destination authorities that we serve.

The industry’s focus right now for Mole Boy Travel & Safe Guide Tours is on defining what it really means to “build back better” and putting the frameworks in place to make this happen. In order to usher in a new age for the travel industry, we will serve as a catalyst for change by utilizing our collaborative approach, visibility, and global leadership.
