Matinu was a young man who led trips to Larabanga, Mognori Eco-village, and Wechiau Hippo Sanctuary. He had a passion for the outdoors and a deep interest in tourism. He launched Mole Boy Travel & Safe Guide Tours in response to repeated requests from tourists for Matinu to serve as their tour guide. His pride in his culture and excitement in sharing it with guests were evident.
Matinu is proficient in eight regional languages in addition to English.
He is intimately familiar with Ghana. He spent his entire life interacting with people from all over the world because he was raised in Mole. He is very sensitive to the interests of visitors for privacy, comfort, and sanitary facilities.
